Irvine Tech Week

One of my most significant achievements was establishing the annual Irvine Tech Week! It serves as a platform that brings together tech enthusiasts, startups, investors, and the community to celebrate our city's thriving tech ecosystem.

The inaugural Irvine Tech Week in 2023 was a resounding success. It was a week-long celebration filled with exciting events such as a startup resource fair, investor pitch sessions, and a project-buildout opportunity. The grand finale was a wrap party at the Great Park, marking the end of a week filled with learning, networking, and expansion.

Building on the success of the previous year, the 2nd Annual Irvine Tech Week in 2024 was even bigger and better. We introduced a new event, a family-friendly 5K fun run, promoting health and wellness in our tech community. We also saw a significant increase in the number of sponsors and events, reflecting the growing interest and commitment to making Irvine a regional tech and entrepreneurial hub. The event lineup was similar to the previous year but with more participants and greater engagement.

As we look forward to future Irvine Tech Weeks, we are excited about the potential of our city. With a high caliber university like UCI graduating students from their strong Computer Science programs, and a history of successful companies, Irvine is an ideal place for companies to launch, grow, and incubate.
